Illustration agency and publisher Pocko approached us to create an animated feature to accompany their touring exhibition of customized russian Matryoshka dolls entitled 'To Russsia With Love'. The exhibition premiered in Magma bookstores London as part of the London Design Festival and continued at venues in New York and Milan.

We created a title sequence stylistically influenced by classic titles designers Maurice Binder and Saul Bass. The narrative depicts the journey of the Matryoshkas through surreal and stylised environments and evokes the creative process of the artists. The animation was directed and conceived by Oliver Durant and Bruna Guerreiro with illustrations by Sapporo based illustrator Chisato Shinya'Kinpro'

The soundtrack was composed and performed by the amazing talents of Shervin Shaeri and Jamie Masters and recorded at Adelphoi music
